Carlos Manzano and Santos Garcia are the owners of Blue Corn Harvest. They both have careers spanning over 30 years in the restaurant industry. Multiple company awards have been won by Carlos and Santos for their development of new dishes and recipes and restaurant service in general. Their vision of opening Blue Corn Harvest has been molded with hard work and endless dedication. Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill has a main dining area and a full service bar that features a variety of local and international wine and beer as well as mixed beverages. When the weather is nice, sit outside on the tree covered patio while enjoying one of their house margaritas. Carlos and Santos support local providers and feature not only Texas beers and wines, but their mixed drinks are made with Texas liquors such as Tito’s Vodka and Treaty Oak Rum. They buy seasonal fruits, vegetables and other groceries from local farmers markets in Cedar Park and close by Georgetown, TX. Their meats come from Texas meat purveyors and their tortillas and breads are also baked and supplied locally.
Start your meal with some Flash Fry Oyster Shooters on blue corn tostadas with mango relish and habanero aioli or how about 512 Blue Corn Pork Taquitos – pulled pork cooked with 512 beer, Monterrey jack cheese, green chili sauce, cotija cheese and habanero aioli. For an entrée the Heirloom Ruby Trout is delicious topped with sundried tomato pesto and heirloom feta salad, mashed potatoes and farm fresh vegetables. Or you might like the Grilled Chicken Cotija Pasta – angel hair pasta and grilled chicken in a light herb cream sauce & farm fresh vegetables topped with cotija cheese & fresh jalapenos. For dessert, there’s Vanilla Flan on a wedding cookie with Anglaise and strawberry sauce or the Seasonal Cobbler served with Captain Morgan, ginger sauce and vanilla ice cream. Yum!
